PDF generators
A screen is a poor music stand in a loud room. These pages turn a few choices into a PDF you can drop on a stand or into a folder. The chord chart uses the same grips as the finder. The scale chart lists a key across fifteen frets. The practice planner is a single page with minutes, not a calendar that nags you tomorrow.
Tools in this section
Chord chart generator
Add up to twelve chords, title the page, and download a PDF of the same grips the chord finder draws. The file is built on your device.
Practice planner
Set a title, a date, a focus, and minutes for warm-up, technique, repertoire and ear. Add one thing to leave with. Download the page. It is not saved when you go.
Scale chart generator
Pick a root and a scale: major, natural minor, pentatonics, blues, Dorian, Mixolydian or harmonic minor. See it on fifteen frets and download the note names. Standard tuning.
Why there is no account behind the download
The file never needs to visit a server to exist. jsPDF draws it in the page and the browser saves it. Close the tab before you download and the plan is gone. That is the trade for a site with no database. If you wanted a streak or a reminder, this is the wrong tool. If you wanted a sheet for Thursday, download it.
What the paper is for
A chart is for looking up, not for scrolling. A practice page is for writing on, which a PDF allows if you print it. The maintenance checklist is the cousin that lives with care rather than with repertoire. None of these files claim to be engraved sheet music. They are grids and sentences.
Questions
- Can I edit the PDF later?
- You can generate it again. The page does not reopen your last file. Keep the download if the wording mattered.
- Does it work offline after the first load?
- The app has to be open. Once the PDF is saved, the file no longer needs the site.
